Schools Out Food Drive
Sponsored by: Fuquay-Varina Fire Department
May 1-June 30
A large number of students in the Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, and Willow Springs area receive free or reduced breakfasts and lunches during the school year. When children are out of school for the summer, parents who are already struggling to provide food for their families need to provide 1-2 more meals per child each day. Many parents cannot afford the extra meals and children are forced to go without eating.
The Fuquay-Varina Fire Department would like to help the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry by collecting items to go in the Summer School Bags from May 1st – June 30th. Please help us guarantee no child goes hungry this summer.
