This event has been very well received by the community so we’re doing it again!  This past spring, more than 3000 people and 13 food trucks attended.  Expect this one to be bigger and better!  Live music and children’s activities.  The perfect way to celebrate the last day off before traditional school starts!

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Thanks to Walkers and Donors like you, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.   Register Here!

Splash Pad Open  - Daily from 10 am—7 pm thru Labor Day
Join us for cool fun this summer at the Splash Pad. This year, the Splash Pad will have two new water features, and offer credit card payments plus it will open an hour earlier than previous years. Residents can attend for free but must have a Resident Splash Pad card which can be picked up at the Community Center during regular business hours. Please bring proof of residency such as a driver’s license or utility bill. A new card must be issued each year!

For non-residents, a $2 per person fee will get you all-day admission. One parent will be admitted without charge. Children under the age of 2 are free of charge.   Please note children under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent or adult supervisor.

Growers Market at Centennial Square

The Growers Market opens for the season on Saturday through Sept. 1 at Centennial Square located at 102 N. Main Street. Find fresh, local food every Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. The Growers Market closes for the season on Sept. 1, so make sure to visit soon!  Find more information at www.growers-market.com.

Community Choir
The group meets on Monday evenings at Falcon Hut starting at 7:30 pm. Join us!  Whether you consider yourself a virtuoso or just like singing along with the radio, there’s room for you in this fun group! The group is currently putting together a program for the opening of the Cultural Arts Center.
