Welcome to the Fuquay-Varina Alert Center.  The Town of Fuquay-Varina uses a variety of methods including our website and social media to provide important information in a timely manner to our citizens.

The Town is pleased to announce the launch of the Blackboard Connect service, our new Town-to-resident notification system. This service allows Town officials to send messages to residents and businesses with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as emergencies or local community matters.  The Town of Fuquay-Varina will primarily use this system to notify residents of important information during emergency situations. 

The service includes publicly available telephone numbers, but residents can sign-up to receive messages through text, cell, or email.  You can also “opt-in” to receive notifications on special events or program.  Your contact information is secure and will not be shared with anyone else. This system will supplement our primary emergency services and existing communication channels to keep you better informed.

Sign up to create an account and customize your notification and topic preferences. Passwords must be at least 8 characters, including at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number. All character must be letters or numbers (no symbols) and passwords cannot be the same as your user name.
