The Community Events Newsletter is a free, consolidated listing of upcoming events for the month in Fuquay-Varina. This service is being offered because residents have indicated that it is an important service.

Newsletter Submissions

Area residents who wish to advertise a local non-profit event of public interest in the monthly Community Events Newsletter may email their submission for consideration.

Please include:
  • Brief description (3 - 5 sentences)
  • Contact information
  • Date
  • Event website
  • Location
  • Time
  • Event name
The Town is not responsible for inaccurate information, including but not limited to incorrect dates, times, and locations, posted on the Community Events Newsletter.

Recipients and Delivery

The Community Events Newsletter is sent to those that have elected to receive it on or about the first of the month. All information should be submitted to the editor by the 25th of the month for approval prior to publication. The editor reserves the right to decline event submissions.

The editor reserves the right to edit event information for length, spelling, clarity, and language. The newsletter is not intended to be used as a promotional vehicle for private or commercial interests or events.


References or hyperlinks in the Town's newsletter to any individual or entity are for informational purposes only and are not an endorsement by the Town. The Town is providing no legal, accounting or other professional advice by including references to any entity or individual.
