Started in 2021, the Junior Forensic Day Camp is designed to educate youth about police functions, and build a stronger relationship between the youth and the Fuquay-Varina Police Department. Youth who participate in this program will learn and work with real police officers, investigators, and crime scene specialists. Youth participants will receive a hands-on approach to police work and crime scene investigations with activities centered around:
-Crime Scene Investigations and Procedures
-Fingerprinting Evidence
-Mock Crime Scenes
-Team Building & Leadership Opportunities
The Junior Forensics Day Camp is designed to provide youth who are interested in being future police officers and investigators with a safe and fun environment where they can learn and engage with Fuquay-Varina Police Officers and CCBI crime scene technicians.
