Fuquay-Varina Parks & Recreation plans, organizes and executes many special events throughout the year.

Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny brings more than 20,000 candy-filled eggs to South Park for Fuquay-Varina’s annual Easter Egg Hunt which is usually scheduled on a Saturday one week prior to Easter. In 2018, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held on SUNDAY, MARCH 25 AT 2 PM AT SOUTH PARK to accommodate a Wake County School snow make-up day.  More info

Celebrate Fuquay-Varina

This highly successful festival is a combination of live entertainment, children and youth activities, classic cars, fabulous food and an arts and crafts show. In short, the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival is free, family fun in true Fuquay-Varina style! More Info

Follow Me 2 Fuquay-Varina Concert Series

The Follow Me 2 Fuquay-Varina concert series takes place at Centennial Square in the Spring and Fall and is free to the public. More info 

Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day early by attending the Fuquay-Varina Independence Day Celebration on July 3rd. This event includes diverse group of food vendors, music acts, free inflatable rides, and a free world class fireworks display. Gates open at 6:00 pm. More info

Ice Cream Social

Celebrate the town of Fuquay-Varina and National Ice Cream Day at the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park. National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday in July.  More info

Haunted Trail

With the help from volunteers, the Town hosts a Haunted Trail in October.  Both Family Trail (5:00-6:00 pm) and Full Fright (7:00 pm-9:00 pm) activities are available. Contact Anthony DiMarzio at adimarzio@fuquay-varina.org if you are interested in volunteering.  More info
