Summer Camp Programs
The Town hosts weekly themed camps beginning June 12, 2023, for children who have completed Kindergarten - 5th grade.
Registration Information
Registration for residents opens on Monday, April 10. Registration for Non-Residents opens on Monday, April 17
Drop-off time is between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Pickup time is between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
Weekly Fee:
- Residents: $125 Residents
- Non-residents: $157
Stars & Stripes week is $75 for Residents and $94 for Non-Residents.
Summer Camp Schedule
Week 1: Superhero Week June 12 - June 16
Attention all superheroes! Grab your capes, shields, and masks, and get ready to show your true strength this week. Campers will play superhero-themed games, create their own costume & meet some local heroes.
Week 2: Jurassic World Week June 19 - June 23
Come explore with us as we uncover exciting mysteries about dinosaurs and other extinct creatures! Campers will learn about fossils, play Dino games & create Jurassic themed crafts.
Week 3: Wild West Week June 26 - June 30
Yee-Haw! Come join us this week as we explore the farm and learn about different farm animals. Campers will enjoy a day at Hill Ridge Farm.
Week 4: Party in the USA Week July 5 - July 7 (No camp on July 3 & 4)
The United States is home to many different cultures and geographies. Campers will discover the history of their country and celebrate the diversities & freedom that make America a wonderful place to live!
Week 5: Out of This World Week July 10 - July 14
Has your little one always wanted to become a mad scientist or explore the vast unknown of space? Well, look no further as our campers will take on several exciting experiments and create out-of-this-world crafts!
Week 6: Under the Sea Week July 17 - July 21
Who is ready for a game of sharks & minnows!? Get ready to sail the seas with a week of ocean theme fun and games. Campers will learn about the many creatures that live in our oceans & beat the summer heat with water-themed games!
Week 7: Olympics Week July 24 - July 28
Welcome to the Summer Olympics - It’s game time! Campers will learn about their favorite sports, create their own country flag, and compete for the gold!
Week 8: Buggin’ Out Week July 31 - August 4
It’s a bug’s life! Campers will go on a bug hunt and learn about bugs in the garden, helpful bugs, and even ones that glow in the dark. Fun-filled days include bug-themed crafts & games!
Junior Camp Counselors
Junior Camp Counselors (ages 15 to 17) are area volunteers who assist Parks & Recreation staff with Summer Camps. Duties will include assisting with activity planning, helping campers with projects, and camp supervision.
This is a great opportunity for teens looking to complete a service project or to gain some valuable experience for college and job applications.

Dates: June 12 to August 4
Time: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm - Shifts will be half days, either 7:30 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 5:30 pm
