Celebrate Fuquay-Varina's heritage at Ashworth Park!
The Friends of the Museum present their annual Heritage Day! Enjoy special programs and take a look inside the Fuquay-Varina museums to learn more about our Town's history.

Parade
Children are invited to participate in a historic parade in one of three categories:
- Individual: Dress up as a historic person, such as Abraham Lincoln, Harriet Tubman, Babe Ruth, etc.
- Event: Decorate a bike or wagon to portray a historic event, such as July 4th, Boston Tea Party, etc.
- Group: Dress up as a historic group, such as a pioneer family, Suffragettes, etc.
Register in front of the schoolhouse museum from 10:15 to 10:45 am on May 6. The parade will start at 11 am.
