To schedule a police officer for a part-time job for a special event or security at a business, contact Captain Chris Gathman (919)552-1434 or at cgathman@fuquay-varina.org. Each request is set up as a contract for secondary employment with the Town of Fuquay-Varina. The hourly rate is the actual officer’s salary/benefits per hour with a minimum of three hours. A contract is signed by the requesting party for the officer for the event and the Town bills the requesting party.

No. If a citizen wishes to report an injured or stray animal, he or she would need to call Wake County Animal Control at 919-250-1475. If it is an emergency situation Wake County Animal Control would be called out by the Police Department.
You can file an application by contacting the Town’s Human Resources Department. Police Officer positions require other application forms in addition to the Town’s application.
