No. If a citizen wishes to report an injured or stray animal, he or she would need to call Wake County Animal Control at 919-250-1475. If it is an emergency situation Wake County Animal Control would be called out by the Police Department.

Each request is set up as a contract for secondary employment with the Town of Fuquay-Varina. The hourly rate is the actual officer’s salary/benefits per hour with a minimum of three hours. A contract is signed by the requesting party for the officer for the event and the Town bills the requesting party.
