Throughout the years, the Town has made significant capital investments downtown, including façade improvement grants, infrastructure upgrades, and streetscape improvements. Local government leaders recognize the need to establish a town center downtown core to serve the growing population of Fuquay-Varina. The Town acquired seven (7) parcels totaling 2.52 acres along N. Main Street and E. Academy Street, intending to partner with a proven private sector developer to construct a mixed-use project with supportive, creative parking solutions.
