You can file an application by contacting the Town’s Human Resources Department. Police Officer positions require other application forms in addition to the Town’s application. Applications are received only when job openings are posted on the Town’s website. Be able to provide detailed information about the person or persons whom you suspect are involved in criminal activity, to include a detailed clothing description along with height and weight, hair and facial features. The Fuquay-Varina Fire Department, located at 301 South Fuquay Avenue in Fuquay-Varina, NC. is a Child Passenger Safety Permanent Checking Station. The Fuquay-Varina Police Department, located at 401 Old Honeycutt Rd. Fuquay-Varina offers child safety seat installation by appointment. Please contact Sgt. No, the Fuquay-Varina Police Department does not offer fingerprinting services for the public. We recommend contacting the City-County Bureau of Identification (CCBI) in Raleigh/Wake County at 919-856-6300.
To schedule a safety presentation for your neighborhood, business or community group, contact (919)552-3191 and request to speak with an on duty supervisor.
To schedule a police officer for a part-time job for a special event or security at a business, contact Major Bob Adams at radams@fuquay-varina.org or by calling (919)552-1423 or Lt. Chris Gathman (919)552-1434 or at cgathman@fuquay-varina.org. Each request is set up as a contract for secondary employment with the Town of Fuquay-Varina. The hourly rate is the actual officer’s salary/benefits per hour with a minimum of three hours. A contract is signed by the requesting party for the officer for the event and the Town bills the requesting party.
